A purpose driven church that has a desire to grow warmer through Fellowship, deeper through Discipleship, stronger through Worship, broader through Ministry and larger through Evangelism.

In 1994, a group of ten individuals began meeting monthly for Bible study and prayer. Early on, Pastor Earvin Jones felt called by God to establish a church centered on the study of Scripture, prayer, worship, family values, and evangelism. On January 22, 1995, Fellowship Bible Church held its first service with fifteen in attendance. Initially, services were in homes, but the church soon became nomadic, meeting at Canton Elementary School, then moving to an old theater in Canton, and then back to the homes of church members. Throughout this journey they sought God’s guidance, following Jesus and praying that God would direct them to the site He had for the church.

In 1997, their prayers were answered when God led them to six acres in Madison County. God’s blessings had allowed the church to save financially to purchase the property where Fellowship Bible Church meets today. They also purchased the former Lee’s Chapel Church and moved the fragile building the thirteen miles from Sharon, Mississippi. The move marked the beginning of preparing the land and remodeling the one hundred year old building.

Fellowship Bible Church dedicated the church on September 13, 1998. God blessed the work with a piano, pews and furniture. No longer nomads, the church remodeled with joy, praising God for His providence in answering the churches prayers offered in faith, while waiting on the Lord. God used His timing and ways to build His Fellowship Bible Church in Madison County. We count it all joy to serve the Lord with gladness of heart, coming together to worship, to be equipped from the study of God’s Word to witness and evangelize. Fellowship Bible Church is growing and pressing “on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14).

At Fellowship Bible Church everything is meant to point to Jesus.
